Guests have access to most of the ranch, including walking trails and a yoga deck overlooking the valley. Outdoor showers and BBQ areas. Wildlife abounds here — from deer and hawks to woodpeckers and owls — making every stroll around the property an adventure. History enthusiasts will appreciate visiting the remains of Nate Harrison’s stone house, while nearby attractions such as the world-famous Palomar Observatory make the stay even more memorable.
Harrison Serenity Ranch is fully off-grid, powered by solar and supplied by artesian well water first claimed in 1892. A Camp Host is available 24 hours a day to ensure your comfort, and propane tent heaters are available to rent for cool evenings.
Getting here is part of the adventure: the property is accessed via Nate Harrison Grade Road, a 5.8-mile dirt road from Highway 76. Though narrow in places, it’s safe for most passenger cars with good brakes and a full tank of fuel. Alternate access is available via S6 near Lake Henshaw, though it includes a steeper downhill section. The nearest store is about 45 minutes away, so we recommend arriving prepared.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $20.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
