Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $20.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
About the Owner
I'm Doug! I grew up in a small farming community in southern Illinois and enlisted in the United States Army after high school, serving for 12 years. My final tour of duty brought me to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, in the heart of the Mark Twain National Forest. After leaving the military, I decided to make this area my home. Today, I live surrounded by the National Forest. Over the past 20 years, my wife and I operated several service industry businesses and owned and operated a farm with sheep, goats, and horses. I've also served as Fire Chief of the Waynesville Rural Fire Protection District for 23 years. I'm proud to call this area home and look forward to sharing what makes it special with our guests.
