Dead Lakes Glamping: Premier Fishing & Nature Retreat

Dead Lakes RV Park & Glamping | Your Gateway to the Apalachicola

Dead Lakes RV Park is a tranquil 40-site sanctuary designed for those who love the "Old Florida" aesthetic. Nestled among ancient cypress skeletons and longleaf pines, guests enjoy direct access to the 6,700-acre Dead Lakes via two on-site boat ramps and fishing piers. The property also features two private fishing ponds, a nature hiking trail, and a community playground. Modern conveniences like high-speed Starlink WiFi at every site, a full bathhouse, laundry facilities, and an on-site camp store with kayak rentals ensure a comfortable stay. Your four-legged friends are also welcome at our dedicated fenced-off dog park.

About the Host

We are John and Ariel Guinn, the on-site managers at Dead Lakes RV Park. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and community-oriented environment for all our guests.

John is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran from Orlando with a passion for the outdoors, including fishing and hunting. His background ensures the park remains well-maintained and organized. Ariel, originally from North Carolina, focuses on guest experience and organization, bringing her love for gardening and a friendly touch to our daily operations.

As an on-site team, we share a love for cooking and family time. We are dedicated to making sure your stay is comfortable and that you get the most out of the unique "Old Florida" beauty of the Dead Lakes.
