About the Host
The owner Don has been in the tourist industry for over 20 years, and has been professional guide in the Southwest and Arizona for over 15 years.
He has lead camping and hiking expeditions thru the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Monument Valley Zion, Bryce Canyon, as well as all throughout the Southwest.
Don is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served as a military medic both in the field and in the emergency department of a hospital.
He also completed the Para-medic program at Creighton University, and worked as a para-medic while attending Arizona State University while pursuing his degree in Chemistry and Biology.
Don started Arizona Luxury Expeditions in 2009 as a way for visitors to the Southwest to receive a one of a kind authentic experience to some of the most spectacular and iconic landscapes on earth by getting people up close and personal to these destinations actually camping and exploring together, giving everyone who visit a truly personal experience.
